United Women in Faith
This is the chapter of the United Women in Faith here at Chippewa United Methodist Church. All women in our church are considered members, and we encourage you to join us in fellowship and service. We are blessed with many opportunities for women to serve, learn, and enjoy fellowship. Everyone is welcome to attend and/or volunteer for the monthly meetings and special events.
Some of the ministries we support in the church include:
• Funeral Meals
• Making baptismal baby blankets
• Sew Many Blessings assembles Christmas stockings and pillowcases for deployed military
• Providing meals for church members with a newly born or adopted baby.
And the funds raised from our bi-annual Rummage Sales support our missions and outreach contributions.
The United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities. We support partners in providing direct services to women, children, youth, and families in neighborhoods around the country. Internationally, we support partners who empower women, children, and youth with education and economic development opportunities. We advocate for a more just world to improve life for women, children, and youth.
In our sisterhood, we lift each other up. We equip women and girls around the world to be leaders –in their communities, their agencies, their governments, and their churches. We are committed to ensure these opportunities reach women of all races and ethnicities, across every language and economic group. We offer educational experiences designed to inspire spiritual growth, personal development, and community nurture to enable powerful collective change.

Fall Rummage Sale
Tuesday, September 30: All day rummage sale | Bake sale: 9:00AM until sellout
Wednesday, October 1: $2 bag sale: 9:00AM - 2:00PM
Intake collection begins Sunday, September 21. Items can be dropped off to the Community Life Center between 12:00PM & 5:00PM. DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE OR AT THE CHURCH.
Sorting and setup will be Sunday, Sept. 28 and Monday, Sept. 29.
October Luncheon Gathering
Pot luck luncheon - bring your favorite pot luck dish.
Brooke Graff will present on McGuire Homes needs and learning abilities.

Gather with us as we share in our blessings and thanksgiving.

Christmas Tea
Settle into the Christmas Season with a cozy tea and fellowship, with a program of special music.
Valentine's Tea
Bring your favorite tea cup(s) to celebrate a special time with family and friends.
