Contemporary Live Stream Announcement

We are pausing the Contemporary Live Steam starting March 3 and will not have a live broadcast of this service for a couple of months. Please know that we do not take this decision lightly, and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

So, why have we decided not to stream our Contemporary service for a couple of months? Well, it takes 3 people to efficiently manage the sound and video for our in-person plus online service each week. While we have managed to operate with 2 people each week, we recognize that this is not a sustainable path forward. As this team begins to change and grow, and with recruitment in mind, we want to take the time to train and hone the skills of longtime members and new, and to do so without the distraction of multitasking two essentially separate productions.

How can you help? Encourage our team members, and let them know you appreciate their service each weekend. Perhaps you may feel called to lend your time or talent to the team, or you may know someone who could serve and participate in the life of the church in this manner. If so, reach out to either myself or one of the pastors so we may answer your questions and bring you on board. The more people we have filling specific roles, the stronger the team becomes.

I want you to hear my heart on this. I strive and am pushing the team to strive for excellence, to do the best that we can in the task we are given, not to boost our own pride or reputation or even the reputation of the church, but because God deserves our best, most sincere effort. This is important to me because I believe work unto the LORD is a form of worship; where our passions, skills, talents, and love for God all align together.

Eventually, we will be able to say "Yes" to both types of service again, and the team will be capable of giving 100% to both. Until then, we ask for your prayers and thank you for your patience. Rest assured, our 11AM Traditional Live Stream will continue as normal, and we are glad to have you continue to join us in worship.

We will have an update for you when we're ready, until then we will see you online at 11AM or maybe even in person. Thank you for worshiping with us and being a part of this church family!

Blessings,
