These days we are marketed to like we’re all about to starve. There are tons of food commercials. All of them showing us the bigger versions or the extra loaded versions of drinks and burgers and candy. We are sold the food and media and policy that never satisfies but only causes us to be more hungry. Jesus declared that he is the “bread of life.” He declares that if we will just come to him we will be satisfied. Sometimes we don’t even realize how hungry and thirsty we are. When we allow Jesus to satisfy us we will find ourselves strengthened by this nourishing. What are you using to satisfy your hunger?
