16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
GO! When was the last time you left home and traveled somewhere and while you were on your way you shared the good news of Jesus Christ? Stories have been shared of people telling others about Jesus from hospital rooms and on airplanes. They were not planning to give some big testimony and converting the whole plane. They just happened to find themself in a conversation with someone asking questions that they answered only by the help of the Holy Spirit that led the questioner to new faith in Jesus Christ. The point is we have to be ready, whether on our way home from vacation or on an actual mission trip to Kenya. How might you be ready to make disciples for Jesus Christ? Will you listen when the Holy Spirit nudges? Will you depend on the Lord to give you the right words? Will you do your part to help bring transformation to the whole world?
