Everyday… I Mean Every Day – Rev. Allan Brooks – Luke 24_28-35

The next few weeks leading up to Pentecost Sunday is considered the season of Easter on the church calendar. Why is this bit of info important? Because it shows that we live in Jesus resurrection beyond Easter Sunday. Jesus didn’t raise from the dead for us all for one special day, no, he returned for the everyday, for life’s routine and tedious tasks. Jesus arose for our best days and our worst days. In His death, He satisfied the penalty for our sin and covered the troubles of this life. In His resurrection, Jesus provides new life and presents a joy and peace that fills our lives. Jesus resurrection is for all of us, for everyday… and when I say everyday, I mean everyday!
