“A Baby Cries Out” – Rev. Gary Hilton – Romans 5:8

With parenthood comes sacrifices, becoming less so that our kids can become more, so that they can achieve their dreams. Whether it is providing help at the drop of a hat or comfort in the midst of distress, these sacrifices are made out of love. Romans 5:8, which essentially is the totality of the gospel summarized in one verse, is the sacrifice God made because of His love for His children. “But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Like a baby crying out, let us reach out and take hold of our God who gave up everything to redeem us to himself.
