Earth Bound – Rev Allan Brooks – Mark 1:1-3
Series: Advent
In this first week of Advent, Pastor Allan reminds us that Christmas isn't about us, nor are we needed to make it perfect. Christmas is far more than the gifts we give each other or the decorations that we so meticulously set up. Christmas is our yearly reminder and celebration of God's gift to us, the fulfillment of his great promise of salvation. Today, we walk through the advent wreath and what each element is meant to remind us.

    Stewards of God’s Grace – Rev. Tai Courtemanche – 1 Peter 4:7-11
    Series: Pentecost
Continuing this series on stewardship, Pastor Tai challenges us on what it means to be stewards of God's grace. As we prepare our commitments to the support of this church for next year, Pastor Tai reminds us of our declaration to uphold ministries of our church through our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness when we joined the church. Upholding the ministries of the church through these five methods is just as important as our monetary commitments. As we consider pledging our 2020 commitments, it is important for us remember these declarations as well make our monetary pledges.

It is that time of year again when we discuss our stewardship in the church. Pastor Allan presents to us the state of our church and talks about strategies for tithing and how to move to offering a full tithe. When we faithfully tithe and trust in God's provision, we allow our selves to be open to God's blessing; for ourselves and our families, as well as within the church.

    Series: Pentecost
Over the course of this past year, ministry and leadership groups have been involved in a strategic planning process as we look forward to the future of our church. Out of that process, we have highlighted three action points that identify who we have been as a church and are set to help guide us moving forward. This week, Pastor Allan talks about our task to make the Kingdom of God visible in this world, and he uses the analogy of the Christmas section in a store present in October.

Out of that process, we have highlighted three action points that identify who we have been as a church and are set to help guide us moving forward. This week, Pastor Tai touches on how we "Share the Love of Christ." It is no special revelation that showing love to someone (being kind, helpful and supportive) requires face-to-face interaction, it requires us to be present with them. To put it simply, we need to make connections. This is no different when sharing Christ's love with the world. Connections must be made and we as God's people must be present with others.

Hot Spots – Rev. Allan Brooks – Exodus 3_1-3
    Series: Pentecost
The one connection we are concerned with on a daily basis is whether our phones have service or not. We have become a society that is dependent on WIFI access, or being able to have LTE. When we do not have those connections, we desperately search for a hot spot. When it comes to needing internet on our tablets or laptops, we set up that hot spot on our phones. How about your connection with God? Do you have full bars with LTE or are you in need of a hot spot? When was the last time you were at your hot spot?
