23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
It is not uncommon to hear people complain about their employment. Complaints run the gamut from hours to number of days, co-workers to managers, pay to paid time off, and the list goes on. Is your voice one that is part of the chorus of complaint? Do you see what you do as for your employer or for the Lord? How might this change your day and even your life if you allowed all of your work to be done as service to the Lord? What would that say about your attitude and your character?
