 “Jesus Loves Me This I Know…”

 

This most beloved Children’s Bible song holds the basic truth and understanding that we at CUMC embrace in our Children’s Ministry programs: all children are precious and are greeted with love and open arms just as Jesus welcomed the children to come unto Him.

 

            Proverbs 22:6 instructs us to, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” This wise but simple proverb underlines our Children’s Ministry philosophy. Our programs are creatively designed to teach, prepare and guide children on how to faithfully follow and live their lives through Jesus Christ. As our children grow in their faith they learn to serve and witness to others.
